• Details of the conference schedule will be distributed and posted to the website prior to the event. 
• There is no fee for attending the Policy Retreat. Delegates will, however, be expected to cover all travel and accommodation costs.
• We aim to close the conference by 3.30pm on Wednesday 8th September to enable delegates to start their homeward journeys in good time.
• The conference dinner on Tuesday 7th September will be paid for by the project. Please advise any special dietary requirements in advance.

Accommodation

Accommodation at the conference venue is now fully booked. There are, however, a number of other hotels/B&Bs/guesthouses in the vicinity:

• The Newton Hotel is just a short walk away from the conference venue.
• Alternative accommodation may be available at the Claymore House Hotel which is also conveniently placed for the conference.

Travel

By plane:

The venue is approx 8 miles from Inverness airport and operates arrivals from the following UK airports:

London Luton – easyJet
Belfast City – Flybe
Birmingham – Flybe
Manchester – Flybe
Edinburgh – Flybe

By train:

The local train station (Nairn) is situated 2 miles from the hotel with a journey time of just 20 minutes from Inverness.

If travelling from Aberdeen, Nairn is on the main line to Inverness with a journey time of approx. 2 hours.

Travel to Nairn from Edinburgh is approx. 4.5 hours (direct route not available).
