International Conference held in Dumfries 8-9 September 2009
"The Future is Older" conference took place last month bringing together policy makers from across Europe to discuss community initiatives to improve the quality of life for older people in rural areas. Delegates included policymakers, health and social care practitioners, social enterprise representatives, community developers and health and social care practitioners.
The event was hosted by the University of Glasgow's Crichton Centre for Research in Health and Social Issues at the Dumfries Campus, a partner in the O4O project.

Media Launch 19 March 2009
